For My Advisees
As an academic advisor, I'm here to help you navigate your courses and prepare for your career after SCU. I've created some structure for advising to allow me to best contribute to your success at SCU and beyond. An important part of us developing a positive working relationship is (1) clarifying advising expectations and 2) making sure that my style works for you. On this page, you'll find details about my commitments as an advisor and your commitments as an advisee.
Asking for References & Recommendations
Some of you may be considering applying for fellowships, internships, and other opportunities. Part of my job as a professor is to write letters of recommendation for students. To make the process effective for both of us, please take a look at this document before reaching out to me.
